Queen St

I woke up and found myself pretty hungry. I checked out the other room and found Michael still asleep. I woke him up as I was really really hungry and knew that it would be an hour before my teeth sink into any decent kind of food.

He woke up looking pretty shagged. I then decided to sing a song to wake him up. I picked up my Lipton bottle and sang to Jolin's <>. No to be ousted, Michael did his best impersonation of Guang Liang's <>. Together, it is <>.

After that crazy moment, it was time to wake up the rest of the guys. First call to Shawn, he woke up hours ago. He had just finished lunch with Edward in the city. Jasper is coming to meet them. I told them to wait while me and Michael take the bus to the city.

After lunch, we were pondering what to do. Casino? Arcade? Snooker?

Casino sounds tempting but the consequences were clear. Arcade is a safe option and provides entertainment worth its dollar value. Snooker was best left for the life when it could be predicted that we have dinner in Chinatown or Sunnybank.

We chose arcade and proceed to battling cars(Daytona or Maximu Tune 2) and terrorists (Ghost Squad). Time past by so fast when you are having fun. It was night time again and time to make the critical decision: Where to have dinner?. Chinatown seems a little boring while Sunnybank was too far. Such meetings usually takes up a bit of time and by the end of the discussion, we were all hungry enough to accept anything.

Dinner settled, we were ready to face all the challenges again, except that it was already 10:30pm and all the shops were closed, saved for the pubs which we were never interested in. It is mahjong at our place then.

*Home Sweet Home*

We played till the next morning and we were all beat tired. The guys left at around 7am and we returened to bed. We will wake up ready to face another day of challenges.

New Year

I saw the greeting message in the MRT today --> "SMRT wishes you a Happy Lunar New Year"

Is 'Lunar' the correct word to use inside of 'Chinese'? I think so. But do you think it is because of political reason? It is like the 'new year' is for the Chinese only. But come to think of it, it is wat! The Malays have Hari Raya while the Indians have Deepavali.

Raw fish anyone?
